Jon Rahm had to withdraw from the Memorial Tournament on Saturday after testing positive for Covid-19. Rahm shot a brilliant 8 under on Saturday. He was on top of the leader board by 6 strokes ahead of Cantley and Morikawa, both at 12 under. Jon was informed just moments after walking off the 18th green that his test that same morning had come back positive. By the TOUR’s COVID Health & Safety Plan, Rahm had to withdraw. Rahm will spend 10 days in quarantine. Rahm will be eligible to play in the Open if he has 2 negative tests by the end of the quarantine. Jon’s quarantine will end on Tuesday June 15th, one day before the Open.
